BBKWA는 20여 년을 한결같이성장해 오고있는 미주뷰티여성경영인 협회입니다. 20여년의 역사를 지닌 현 협회는 단단하면서도 따뜻하고 끈끈한 힘으로 그 내실을 다지며 성장해 오고 있습니다.

앞으로도 더욱 견고하게 뭉치며 성장해 나갈 것입니다. 단체가 성장해 나가는 원동력의 첫째는 각 개개인의 성장이 먼저이고, 그 개개인의 힘이 모여있을때 단체는 힘을 발휘할 수 있는 것이라 생각합니다.

이업계는 한인들의 민족사업이라고 해도 과언이 아닐 정도로 많은 이민자들의 생업의 터전이 되었습니다.

우리는 우리가 진행하는 이 사업을 귀하게 여기고, 아끼며 발전시켜 나가기를 희망합니다…

Who we are

2002년에 창립된 미국뷰티비즈니스한인여성협회(BBKWA)는

미국 뷰티 서플라이 소매 업계의 사업주 모임인, BBKWA는 업계에서 여성 대표의 필요성을 인식하고 네트워크를 통해 여성 역할의 질 향상과 사업 발전에 앞장서고 있습니다.

협회의 주요 목적은 회원 간 유용한 커뮤니케이션과 새로운 제품에 대한 정보 교환 및 세미나를 통한 비즈니스의 성장을 도모하는 것입니다. 또한 BBKWA는 뷰티 업계의 다른 조직과 협력하여 대외적인 봉사 활동을 확대합니다. 이러한 협력은 조직과의 관계를 강화하고 도매업체 및 제조업체와의 관계를 강화합니다.

BBKWA의 회원 수는 200명이며 이사회, 회장, 사무국등이 운영을 담당합니다. 연중 정기총회는 지정된 도시에서 순환적으로 개최됩니다. 또한, BBKWA는 국내 뷰티서플라이 전시회에 참가하며 BBKWA 컨퍼런스에서는 홍보를 위한 부스가 제공됩니다.

BBKWA는 매년 회원 및 임원진들이 50여명이 참석하는 세계비즈니스대회 등 국제회의에도 참가하고 있습니다. 또한 참석하는 회원들은 한상드림글로벌장학재단 장학금 수여식에 참여해 3,000달러의 장학금을 기부하고 있습니다.

Founded in 2002, the Beauty Business Korean Women Association of America (BBKWA) is an organization of female.

Business owners in the American beauty supply retail industry. Recognizing the need for women’s representation in the industry, BBKWA is taking the lead in improving the quality of women’s roles and business development through their networks.

The primary focus of the gathering is to exchange useful information between the members and receive training through product seminars. In addition, BBKWA works in conjunction with other organizations in the beauty industry to expand its outreach. These collaborations strengthen the relationship with the organizations and ties with wholesalers and manufacturers.

There are 200 members of BBKWA, and the operation is handled by a Board of Directors, a Chairperson, and a Secretariat. In the middle of the year, an annual meeting is held in a designated city on a rotational basis. In addition, BBKWA participates in domestic beauty supply trade shows and international conferences such as the World Korean Business Convention wherein 50 BBKWA members attend. At all the conferences, BBKWA is given a booth to promote their public relations.

BBKWA also participates in the annual Hansang Dream Global Scholarship Association scholarship ceremony where BBKWA members and the executives attend to donate $3,000.00 to the winner.
